Hello! These days and nights of mine have been full of musings, thoughts, self-reflections, wise words from cherished ones, and music. No matter what is happening in my life, there is always music attached as if it were tangible! There is a specific song that is haunting me tonight, and has appeared from time to time in the last weeks, in and out. Moments call for certain songs. I can't explain it, but I'm sure a few of you would understand.

Yo~! I'm Mercedes and I'm a mixture of Native American (Creek & Cherokee), Nova Scotian, French, and Irish. I have no siblings, which is such a shame (thank goodness I have a big family, eh?). When I was growing up, I swore up and down that I was Pocahontas. It's my overactive imagination. >D I grew up on Disney movies, Pokemon, Mario and Street Fighter. I love Cinnamon Raisin bread. I'm not in school, I graduated in May 2008 and ever since then I've lived at homecarefully plotting to take over the world. I eventually plan to join the USAF, which should be around June next year. Movies/TV: Pearl Harbor, I've watched it so many times. It never gets old. What are you looking for in a pen pal? I Would like someone who is actually interested in building a friendship. Someone who likes to hear rants, tyraids and eventual appologize for flying off the handle, and ramblings about how much i have Dora and vegitarians (Not all, just the militant ones) I try to put humor in everything i do, and as you can see my spelling, gramar and punct. arnt the best, but i hope readable! About Me: My personality is a bit hard to put into words. I am shy fellow. I am definitely not the person who likes to start conversation but I do like to join in. I am also very nice and friendly and hardly have a temper. You really have to piss me off to make me angry with you, however, I tend to hold grudges if you do. Although I am not a talker, I am a great listener and I tend to overhear conversations around me, which does distract me if I am doing something. I am not a strong person physically nor mentally. Stress and pressure can easily crush or cripple in the inside, so I tend to walk away from drama. Gustav Klimt is my favorite artist. I discovered last fall that he's also my Great-Aunt Helen's favorite, which strikes me as poetic and brilliant.
I was personally "challenged" recently to let the vintage gowns drop. Well, if I focus on artistic nudes, these are my very favorites. ;)

Isa Chandra Moskowitz is my hero and I wish she would be my girlfriend. She is from Brooklyn, hosts a show called The Post Punk Kitchen, and has written a number of deeply deeply awesome vegan cookbooks including Vegan Cupcakes Take over the World, Vegan Cookies Invade Your Cookie Jar, Vegan With A Vengeance and the Veganomicon.
I know that's a lot of 'Veg'es in one sentence, but I promise you don't have to be Vegetarian to enjoy her recipes.
